The casting for the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" appeared to be gaining speed. For one, British model Cara Delevingne was said to be the "frontrunner" for a part in it. Now, rumour has it that another model, Devin Paisley, is also up for a role in the movie. Perhaps, Devin and Cara were up for the lead roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, respectively?

Late last week, rumours claimed that model Cara Delevingne auditioned for a part in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"Cara is a front-runner for a part. She's desperate to get the gig and has always said that she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress," says a source to The Sun.

However, it wasn't clear as to what role Cara had signed up for, but according to reports, it was an iconic part that would be written especially for her by Kelly Marcel.

"[Cara's] agent has also been talking to Kelly Marcel, the screenplay writer. And, if needs be, a strong role will be written in for her," continued the source, adding, "So some aspects of the storyline will not be a particularly big stretch for Cara. It will be Cara's first big screen role, so she's really excited about it and is eager to make sure that she does a good job. Her name in itself will obviously be a big draw for the film too."

Another model making rounds on the web as a potential star in the film is South African model, Devin Paisley. Paisley had long been eyed for the part of Christian Grey and now webloids are pairing Devin up with Cara as a suitable Christian and Ana. Of course, all these are merely speculation not close to the truth.

If chances do arise, would Cara Delevingne and Devin Paisley make the perfect Ana and Christian? Check out the slideshow to see more of these models up for the movie.
