News broke early this weekend of an official cast for the upcoming film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." E.L. James announced the names of the actors who officially nabbed the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. As suspected, fans were disappointed with the choices. While Dakota Johnson does prove to be beautiful and talented, here are a few better actresses who could have been cast as Anastasia Steele.

Staying true to the rumours, E.L. James broadcast the official cast for "Fifty Shades of Grey" on her Twitter account after Labour Day. Charlie Hunnam of "Sons of Anarchy" and Dakota Johnson of "21 Jump Street" have officially nabbed the parts of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele respectively.

A few fans were pleased with the choices but some were outraged. True-blue Matt Bomer fans claimed Charlie Hunnam was inadequate as Christian Grey. On the other hand, true-blue Emilia Clarke fans stated Dakota Johnson wasn't any bit of Anastasia Steele starting off with the striking blonde hair.

Of course, no matter how much fans would scream, cry and curse at the choices by the producers, recasting won't be possible. With the film set for release by August 1, 2014, filming should begin as early as now.

If however the chance does arise for recasting, fans have a few names in store for the part of Anastasia Steele. Obviously, Emilia Clarke, Alexis Bledel and a few others would be on the list.
