Speculations for a cast of "Fifty Shades of Grey" continue. Despite earlier announcements that casting and auditions would be held far late in the year, fans continue to name actors and actresses who could play the lead roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. To date, possible American and British actors have already been named for the role of Grey, this time take a look at Australian actors who could play Christian Grey.

Blame E.L. James' best-selling erotica novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey" for the entire buzz. Ever since the novels came out, fans of the series have been dying for a film adaptation. Luckily, these fans got what they wanted but it has taken quite a while for casting and production to begin.

Almost a hundred actors have been nominated to play the elusive role of Christian Grey. Surprisingly, Focus Features and Universal Studios still haven't taken the time for a cast let alone an audition for the lead roles. Of course, all the speculations and casting rumours have been done by "Fifty Shades" fans.

As of late, the latest actors to be "confirmed" for the role of Grey include "Vampire Diaries" star, Ian Somerhalder, "White Collar's" Matt Bomer and "Man of Steel's" Henry Cavill. Obviously, some fans think that only all-American or British men perfectly define the physical and mental characteristics of Christian Grey.
