Over the weekend, "Fifty Shades" star Dakota Johnson was seen at the red carpet premiere of "Don Jon" along with her famous mom, Melanie Griffith. Everyone knows that "Don Jon" is Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut which tackles a man objectifying women and his penchant for porn. Is Dakota taking a few tips from the film for her part as Anastasia Steele in the upcoming film adaptation of E.L. James' erotica novel?

"Don Jon" is Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut that shows the story of a porn-addicted man living in New Jersey. The film premiered in New York early Thursday with quite a few Hollywood big shots in attendance of which included "Fifty Shades of Grey" star, Dakota Johnson.

Wearing a little black dress paired off with black peep-toe shoes and a black bag, Dakota Johnson attended the "Don Jon" premiere alongside her mother, Melanie Griffith. Johnson looked every bit of the innocent Anastasia Steele of whom she'd be portraying in the upcoming film adaptation.

As for Johnson's movie choice, could it be that Dakota is taking a few tips from the film "Don Jon's" lead actress' Scarlett Johansson? JGL did reveal that he only had eyes for Johansson for the part of Barbara Sugarman for the film.

"I didn't know Scarlett, but I spent more than a year with the image of her in my head playing this character. She couldn't not do this," explained Levitt, adding, "Look, Scarlett is a gorgeous, gorgeous woman, but if you just compare purely physical features, plenty of girls are just as gorgeous. But she creates this extra something. It's in her walk, her eye contact. The total package is just off the charts."

Aside from having her mother's, Melanie Griffith advice, Dakota could certainly learn a thing or two from ScarJo's character in "Don Jon." The "Social Network" star definitely picked the perfect weekend movie to learn a few tips and tricks for "Fifty Shades of Grey."
