Despite the fact that Charlie Hunnam had already been officially cast as Christian Grey, a few names still continue to circulate around the web as better and highly more suitable stars for the part. Yet, if there is one star not on the potential list it would be "Harry Potter's" Daniel Radcliffe. What did Dan have to say about the casting controversy and him not being in the hype?

Charlie Hunnam continues to face backlash after being cast as Christian Grey. Fans still insist that "White Collar's" Matt Bomer play the part but hasn't Bomer already stated he wants nothing to do with the film. Bomer also went on to add that he's happy that the "Sons of Anarchy" star nabbed the part.

The same goes for "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe who is quite supportive of Charlie for officially being cast as Christian Grey.

"I literally had someone say to me for the first time today, 'The world's in uproar you're not playing Christian Grey,'" confessed the Hogwarts alumni in an interview with MTV News, adding, And I'm like 'If this is uproar, it's inaudible.'"

For one, since the books' release late last year, Daniel Radcliffe's name has never been mentioned by readers as a potential actor for the part of Grey. It's not that Daniel isn't talented but more likely he's too "innocent"-looking for the part. Of course, Daniel knew that obvious fact.

"I think there was approximately no people wanting me to play Christian Grey, including myself," stated Daniel, adding, "I have to say, no offense to anybody, I'm sure they're going to do a great job on the movie, but it's not something that I think of would have been a good next step for me."
