“Walking Dead” have expressed the possibility of a new season by April this year, an official announcement hasn’t been made regarding the season’s premiere yet. With viewers eagerly waiting for “Fear the Walking Dead” season 3, the spinoff is currently on the news for adding a fresh face to the trending show.

Production of “Fear the Walking Dead” season 3 began last month. After the addition of the new member to the show, it won’t be wrong to say that the show is getting a little crowded by the day. The studio has this time decided to bring former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” actress Emma Caulfield on “The Walking Dead” spinoff. The actress has worked on some popular titles including “Beverly Hills 90210” as Susan and a blind witch in “Once Upon a Time.”

According to TV Line, AMC has confirmed Caulfield’s casting. The length of her stint in the show’s upcoming season is yet to be divulged by the network. Meanwhile, multiple sources have hinted the probability of Caulfield playing the role of a villain in “Fear the Walking Dead” season 3 as the actress had successfully played villains before. While no details about her role have been revealed to the public, fans and followers of the show seem to be speculating that the actress’ role could overshadow Dillane’s (Nick Clark) and Danay Garcia’s (Luciana).

Also, actress Danay Garcia had previously revealed that there will be switching of roles in the new season. “I have to follow somebody else’s rules,” she had said. “It will be interesting.” So, could it be Luciana and Nick with their still-surviving group taking orders from Caulfield in the next season? Well, that’s for fans to find out.

In other news, Colman Domingo who plays the enigmatic Strand on the post-zombie-apocalypse TV show has sung praises for fans and promised to keep in touch with them through social media. “I love that people are so passionate about the show,” he said, according to the Undead Walking. “They tell you how they feel. I want the fans to have that sort of access to know what we’re creating for them.”

There are many members of the show who have been able to maintain a cordial relationship with fans through social media. Actors frequently post updates on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, and Domingo is willing to follow the trend apparently.
