Fear the Walking Dead Season 3

AMC to return with a brand new season of "Fear the Walking Dead," and it’s happening no later than this year. Buzzes are also that the AMC live aftershow “Talking Dead: Fear” is all revved up to telecast a fresh, new season.

Ranked seventh among the highest rated shows in the US on both broadcast and cable, the season 2 premiere of "Fear the Walking Dead" rose 32 percent in viewership, i.e., 8.8 million in figures. AMC president Charlie Collier candidly stated that "What Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman have invented in Fear The Walking Dead is to be applauded.”

“Watching Los Angeles crumble through the eyes of our characters and seeing each make decisions and try to figure out the rules of their new world," Collier added, according to a report by Deadline. "It’s fresh, eerie and compelling and we’re all in for the ride,” he further said.

As reported by Undead Walking, shooting of the "Fear the Walking Dead" season 3 has already begun and is scheduled to telecast this year, although no release date or any other akin specific has been announced so far. Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd is all excited about the upcoming season, which assures fans of the fact that the FTWD SE03 will be no less than a feast for the eyes.

"As Victor Strand observed, ‘the only way to survive a mad world is to embrace the madness.’ We thank the millions of fans for embracing this mad world and look forward to sailing far into the future," Collier had said.

What more exciting about the new "Fear the Walking Dead" season is that unlike its forerunners, season 3 will consist of 16 episodes and is due to premiere by late 2017. Whoever is anxious to know what happens to Nick after the border gunfight, will have to wait a little more for answers.

Season 2 of "Fear the Walking Dead" is currently being telecast in Australia on Foxtel. The show airs every Monday at 1.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.
