Casting speculation for "The Fault in Our Stars" continue with the film adaptation set to hit theatres by next year. With Josh Boone in the director's chair, casting for the roles of Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster is sure to follow suit. While Hollywood may have a plethora of suitable actors, things would go easier for the production studio and for Boone if they simply cast Logan Lerman as Augustus Waters.

Having played the incredibly hilarious and honest, Charlie from "Perks of Being a Wallflower", Lerman proved he has the acting chops to boot. Quite frankly, Logan Lerman can definitely play the humorous and witty, Augustus Waters of John Green's highly acclaimed novel, "The Fault in Our Stars."

Lerman nailed the role for Charlie and managed to make fans of the books break down in tears for the film adaptation. Sure enough, Logan could pull off the same reaction by playing Augustus "Gus" Waters in the film adaptation.

However, nailing Lerman for the role might pose as difficult given Lerman is currently busy filming "Noah" alongside Emma Watson. Lerman also has a few other films of which he is set to promote. These films include the sequel to "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief", "Sea of Monsters."

Still, fans of Logan Lerman could only hope the star does manage to say yes if considered for the role. What would John Green say to the casting? By far, John had been ecstatic to tweet about Shailene Woodley to play Hazel Grace Lancaster. Would Logan Lerman set to play Augustus Waters make the same reaction?
