After the sudden demise of Paul Walker, hearts of 'Fast and Furious 7" fans around the globe remained filled with profound grief and head with many queries and the speculations about the future of the 7th instalment of "Fast and Furious" film franchise.

The movie was set for a July 11, 2014 release but due to tragic death of Walker it could be postponed. Now there are three main questions to be answered by James Wan and Universal Pictures:

  1. What will happen to Walker's character Brian O'Connor in the "Fast and Furious 7"?
  2. When will the movie be released?
  3. Who will portray Brian O'Connor?

Reportedly, Walker's parents said their son undeniably would have wanted to stay in the project. While the Fast and Furious 7 production team struggles with the loss of great actor and his beloved team members are trying their best to find a solution that will justify the huge fan following of the late Walker and his parents, Paul Walker Sr. and Cheryl Walker. Recently, they have given away their opinion about how they would like the movie progress head with their son's character of undercover cop Brian O'Conner.

The Fast and Furious series was one of Universal's most successful franchises, and the role of Brian O'Conner was the one Walker was best known for. He was the spirit of the movie and the way he connected to the character of 'Brian O'Connor' had further added vigor to the movie. He revealed in an interview with USA Today from the Atlanta set of "Fast & Furious 7" in one of his final interviews that Brian O'Connor was a character he had cherished being recognized with.

"I get that a lot. I'm Brian a lot more than I'm Paul Walker, which is awesome. When I hear, 'Hey Paul Walker!' my hair stands up on the back of my neck. It's uncomfortable. But when I hear 'It's Brian!' it's cool. I like Brian," Walker said.

"The studio supposedly wants 8, 9 and 10. I'll be 50. Even if 7 were to [tank], there's at least an 8. That's a guarantee," Walker said in an interview with the Collider.

Hence that is the reason behind his parents wanted his character to be alive in the movie. Walker's parents "has made it known to Paul's co-stars, that they don't want him cut out of the movie.

"It wouldn't be what Paul would have wanted," a source told RadarOnline. Fast and Furious enthusiasts would surely agree with Walker's parents.

"Paul absolutely loved being a part of the Fast & Furious franchise. His family knows writers and producers will handle Paul's death with dignity and understanding. Of course, his family is focused on Paul's upcoming funeral, and taking care of his teenage daughter, Meadow," the source stated.

However, further details were not provided by production team. But there were reports claiming that Ludacris has expressed the desire to cast Justin Bieber in "Fast and Furious 7."

Its a tough task for the production team to redraft the plot for a film of this magnitude with a lead actor with vast global fan following. Hence they should handle this task with utmost care to substantiate demand of fans and family so that the seventh film pays tribute to Walker's bequest and provides fair conclusion for the franchise.

Our thoughts go out to Walker's family, friends and fans.
