It's New Year's Eve and of course everybody is excited for what 2013 has in store. While some are busy with their New Year lists and resolutions, only dedicated fans are still in full support of their celebrities. So who among the biggest and brightest have made it to the fan pick top list of 2012 plus who would continue to make it big in 2013?

Surprisingly, the popular British boy band, One Direction makes it to the top. The boys have also managed to nab the third place on the worldwide top selling artists of 2012. Along with the boys are British singer Adele and country crooner Taylor Swift. 2012 has been one whirlwind ride for the boys, namely Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik.

"Directioners" are of course one to thank for the boys' success. With the boys' popularity and career still on an all-time high, 2013 looks promising for the boys. Hopefully, Harry Styles doesn't get too burned out with TSwift and end up leaving the group with all the dates he is on.

Despite not having the success she quite hoped for in her first post-Disney flick, "LOL", Miley Cyrus makes it to number two. Fans still adore the former "Hannah Montana" star. In fact, Miley's engagement with "Hunger Games" hunk, Liam Hemsworth managed to top the 2012's 12 most talked about stories on social media sites.

Even if the One Direction boys rule the boy band world, the Jonas Brothers remarkably make it to the fan pick top list at number 3. Recently, the JoBros had continued with their tour in some parts of Asia. Nick Jonas, the youngest of the brothers, seemed to be the most talked about in regards to his song "Wedding Bell" said to be for Miley Cyrus and his alleged "bromance" with ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, boyfriend - Justin Bieber.

In at number four is the lovely Latina, Selena Gomez. Gomez had one heck of a career in 2012. Despite announcing taking a break from the music industry, Selena continued to be on the radar. As of today, the former Disney star has over four films wrapped up set for a 2013 release. Also, Gomez is working on an album set to be released by March 2013. Another reason why Gomez had been talk-of-the-town is her on-off and on-again relationship with Canadian singer, Justin Bieber.
