Even before Caitlyn Jenner became a reality, "Family Guy" had predicted the transition way back in 2009. Seth McFarlane, the creator of this mad cap dysfunctional family, is today hailed as a soothsayer. The cartoon has predicted Bruce Jenner to be a beautiful Dutch woman.

McFarlane’s "Family Guy" is one of television's most divisive comic cartoon series. McFarlane is hailed both as a misogynist and a genius, depending upon the view point of the viewers. But he is today hailed as a soothsayer. The clip, where the talking baby Brian refers to Caitlyn Jenner as a beautiful woman, is going viral on social media.

In fact, people are commenting on McFarlane’s astute observations that have been missed by many. According to Jenner, she has begun the transition by the '80s. It was suspended when she met her future wife, Kris. The Olympic Decathlon Gold medal winner revealed her new identity as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine earlier this week.

In a 2009 episode, “We love you Conrad,” Stewie and the family dog, Brian discusses the issue of Jenner’s gender identity. Stewie, the genius talking baby, on spotting Brody Jenner, says “I can’t believe that came out of Bruce Jenner’s vagina.” When Brian responds that Bruce Jenner is a man, Stewie famously replies, “No, that’s what the press would have you believe, but he’s not. Bruce Jenner is a woman. An elegant, beautiful, Dutch woman.”

The Internet has immediately seized this video and is hilariously praising McFarlane’s clairvoyant abilities. Even Katie Glover, editor of the popular transgender publication Frock Magazine, told The Independent, “I'm sure there will also be many trans people who will see that clip from 2009 as some kind of slur on our community but honestly, sometimes you have to just let it wash over you and enjoy the humour.”

Jenner’s transition has been one of the trending topics on social media. She has brought to light the issues regarding transgender and LGBT people.
