Bethesda’s “Fallout 4” is home to a ton of goodies to explore. Almost every nook and cranny can be scoured for weapons, junk, items and many more. Among these items are some special collectibles that are not only good on the eyes but are also good for the game’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perk chart.

Overall, there are 20 Vault-Boy bobbleheads to collect in the commonwealth. Before maxing out any particular perk or stat for their characters, players should be aware that the bobbleheads, along with certain magazines and comics, add a permanent point to different areas in the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perk chart.

Below is the list of locations of all 20 Vault-Boy bobbleheads in the Commonwealth, as detailed by IGN. The following are the seven bobbleheads that add a permanent point to each S.P.E.C.I.A.L attribute.

  • Strength bobblehead: Located inside the Mass Fusion Building, placed on a metal wall sculpture in the lobby
  • Perception bobblehead: Located in a table inside the Museum of Freedom, where the player first comes in contact with Preston Garvey
  • Endurance: Located in Poseidon Energy, on a metal desk in the central metal catwalk
  • Charisma: Inside the Parsons State Insane Asylum, on the desk of Jack Cabot inside the Administration area office
  • Intelligence: Located on a computer bank at the mechanical room of the Boston Public Library
  • Agility: Along the edge of the ship’s bow on the Wreck of the FMS Northern Star
  • Luck: On a green boat south of Spectacle Island

The list below details the perk-specific bobbleheads. It is worth noting that the player does not have to reach level requirements for the permanent additional point.

  • Barter: On the main cannery room inside Longneck Lukowski’s Cannery
  • Big Guns: Inside Vault 95; on top of a radio in the northern most living quarters area
  • Energy Weapons: Fort Hagen, wedge between two fridges inside the Command Center
  • Explosive: On a catwalk in the Blast Furnace area of Saugus Ironworks
  • Lockpocking: Located where the player first meets Pickman, inside the Pickman Gallery
  • Medicine: Inside Vault 81, in the office of Curie
  • Melee: At the very top of Trinity Tower, inside the cage where the player rescues Rex and Strong
  • Repair: Located in Corvega Assembly Plant, beneath the Corvega sign in the southwest roof section
  • Science: Inside the third-level of the vault building in Malden Middle School
  • Small Guns: Located in Gunners Plaze on top of the broadcast desk at the ground floor
  • Sneak: Next to the metal post terminal for area no. 4 in Dunwhich Borers
  • Speech: In Park Street Station also called as Vault 114. In the office where Nick Valentine was held
  • Unarmed: In the hood of a rusty car at the Atom Cats Garage

Aside from the bobbleheads, there are also several magazines and books for the players to collect. Perhaps the most important of these magazines is the You're S.P.E.C.I.A.L. manual. It can be found at Sanctuary Hills, inside the home of the protagonist. It's under a cabinet that's beside a baby crib, Gosu Noob reports.
