Jason Donovan recently talked about the possibility of reuniting with Kylie Minogue almost 27 years after the release of “Especially For You.” The collaboration song from Donovan’s debut album “Ten Good Reasons” was released on Nov. 28, 1988.

In an interview with ITV, Donovan said a reunion with his “Especially For You” collaborator and former “Neighbours” co-star may be likely. He pointed out, “You’ll never know.”

From 1986 to 1989, Donovan played Scott Robinson in “Neighbours.” On the other hand, Minogue played Charlene Mitchell from 1986 to 1988 in the Australian soap opera. A few years after leaving “Neighbours,” Donovan played Richard Savage in the TV seies “MDA.” He also played Daniel Marrack in the “Echo Beach” in 2008.

Currently residing in Oxfordshire, Donovan is set to have a series of concerts across Australia. In the New Year, he will have a tour in Guildford, Brighton, Oxford and Southampton.

After “Ten Good Reasons,” Donovan released five studio albums, which are “Between the Lines,” “All Around the World, “Let It Be Me,” “Soundtrack of the 80s” and “Sign of Your Love.” He is expected to reveal details about his seventh studio album soon.

Meanwhile, Minogue released her 13th studio album titled “Kylie Christmas” on Nov. 13. The album has 13 tracks and three bonus songs. This is Minogue’s first holiday album. After “Neighbours,” Minogue appeared in several TV series including “Kath & Kim,” “British Men Behaving Badly” and “Doctor Who.” Recently, she played Shauna in “Young & Hungry” Season 2.

While Minogue is yet to comment on the possibility of reuniting with Donovan, she recently performed “100 Degrees” with her sister Dannii Minogue onstage before the audience of “The X Factor Australia” Season 7. The song was from “Kylie Christmas” and their performance marked the sisters’ reunion onstage after about 30 years.
