This is the time of the year when the stars shine brightly as they paint the town red on the annual pre-Emmy party.

Amongst all the parties in Tinseltown last Friday there are only two parties that stands-out from all the pre-Emmy parties, the Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party at Fig & Olive Melrose Place in West Hollywood and Variety & Women In Film Pre-Emmy Party at Scarpetta in Beverly Hills.

The star-studded party is packed with Emmy nominated stars who are ready to rock the red carpet for the Sunday's award show. So here are the Hollywood celebs who can't resist a good party as they walk the orange carpet of Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party.

Wearing a Pierre Balmain dress, Gabrielle Union is spotted with Cobie Smulders wearing a Valentino dress with Veep's star Anna Chlumsky, who is glowing in her vintage Versace dress. Nominated for her role in Veep, Anna could be the next Emmy's Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. The ladies were joined by True Blood's Sam Trammell, Mistresses' Alyssa Milano, Ali Larter, How I Met Your Mother new-star Cristin Milioti, American Horror Story's Lily Rabe and Gabrille'sboyfriend Dwyane Wade.

The stars are glowing exceptionally bright in Variety & Women's In Film Pre-Emmy Party as they strut in pure elegance on the red carpet. Hollywood celebs who are spotted in the posh party includes actress/singer Kat Graham with Michelle Trachtenberg and Sarah Hyland. The girls were seen exchanging hellos and kisses with Glee's star Jane Lynch.

When asked by THR about her new album, the 24-year old singer says, "I think it's always exciting for an artist to always create. It's so exciting to work on something new - I never stopped working on something new. I actually stopped recording because I wound up filling my catalogue dreams of this many records.

"I feel like I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing for sure", she added.

Other stars who are spotted on the TV-centric bash are Mad Men stars Jessica Pare, Harry Hamlin, Elizabeth Moss with Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland and Julie Bowen. Mingling among the crowd is So You Can Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley, Nashville's Connie Britton and Dot-Marie Jones.
