Recently, the 22-year old British actress is linked with the film casting news to the highly anticipated movie adaptation of the hugely successful erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey." It looks like there is no stopping Emma Watson rising to stardom as one of the most talented actresses in this generation.

In "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" movie, Emma Watson's character is living the life of a high school kid and it was something that she did miss out while growing up. Watson portrays the character of an American teen who is a hip outsider at a Pittsburgh school.

According to reports, the young British actress said that it gave her a taste of a whole different life considering her cloistered upbringing on the set of the "Harry Potter" movie franchise; where she portrayed the bookish, Hermione Granger.

Emma Watson explained that she picked this film because it felt genuine.

"I think there is so much high school coming of age stuff, this one really feels authentic," Watson revealed.

"It really feels real. Really feels like is speaks to what the experience is really about. The cast is awesome. It is funny but deeply sad, all at the same time. I'm really proud of it," the young actress added.

There is no denying that Emma Watson became rich and world-famous because of the "Harry Potter" films. Since then, she has kept a very busy schedule that even made her scramble to the point of finding a dress to wear for the premiere.

"This is the craziest story," Watson said of her Armani dress.

"I got off a plane three hours ago and I didn't have a dress to wear. So I went through a rack and I saw the dress. This was it. Then I got it shortened a little bit and here I am," Watson shared.

"The Perks of Being A Wallflower" is adapted by film director Stephen Chbosky from his own novel, and it stars Logan Lerman as the deeply troubled high school student who falls in with the crowd of smart, nurturing seniors that deals with plenty of issues of their own. The film opens in the United States on September 21 and in the United Kingdom on October 3.
