Eminem stands tall at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart as his new record "Marshall Mathers LP" tops the list with 792,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

With this achievement, Eminem's new album marks the second-largest sales week for this year. "The 20/20 Experience" by Justin Timberlake opened with 968,000 in March. Also, the second-largest week had been the opening of Drake's "Nothing Was the Same" with 658,000.

"The Marshall Mathers LP 2" joins the league of "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga (1.1 million debut, 2011), "Red" by Taylor Swift (1.2 million debut, 2012), "Speak Now" by Taylor Swift (1 million debut, 2010), "The Carter IV" by Timberlake and Lil Wayne (964,000 debut, 2011). Eminem's new album registered the sixth-biggest sales week of the last five years.

Eminem should pat his back as "MMLP 2" did well than his last album, "Recovery." The 2010 album, "Recovery" debuted with 741,000. It also did well that "Relapse" which could only manage 608,000.

"Marshall Mathers LP 2" managed to have the 14% of the album sales pie. And it sold more than the combined sales of rank 2-32 records on the Billboard 200 in this week.

"Loved Me Back To Life" by Celine Dion debuts at No. 2 this week with just 77,000 copies sold. Avril Lavigne's new record "Avril Lavigne" debuts at No. 5 with 44,000 copies sold. Last week's No. 1 "Reflektor" by Arcade Fire drops to No. 9 with around 31,000 sales ( the sales dropped 77%), certainly, not a great news for Arcade Fire.

Kelly Clarkson's magical Christmas treat in the form of "Wrapped in Red" drops from No. 3 to No. 6 with 43,000 copies sold (the sales dropped 39%).

"Prism" by Katy Perry drops from No. 2 to No. 4 with 61,000 sold (the sales dropped 33%).
