Ellen DeGeneres has spoken up again against the never-ending rumours about her marriage with Portia de Rossi during an interview on The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday. The talk show host denied there’s any truth to all the divorce rumours as she and Portia are still very much committed to each other.

Ellen tells Stern in the video below that she doesn’t have a publicist, so she doesn’t hear or read about the rumours until someone tells her. She recalls that one time, Portia’s publicist was the one who alerted her about all the stories of her marriage posted online, and she was told to take legal actions against the tabloids. Ellen cites one story that claimed she was going to her “love nest and having an affair” with her best friend Victoria after they were spotted going to a condo that she and Portia owns.

When Stern asks, “Does that bother you… do the two of you get upset about that?” Ellen replies, “We don’t know anything about it until somebody tells us.”

Ellen then tells Stern that she doesn’t understand why people make up stories about her marriage with Portia. However, to make light of the rumours, Ellen jokes that she and Portia actually feel a little flattered that they are in the tabloids, because she thought their lesbian marriage is not worthy of the tabloid. Ellen then denies all the fighting and divorce rumours spread online.

“We really don’t almost break up, we don’t fight, we’re madly in love,” she tells Stern.

When Stern asks if “things are good, “Ellen replies, “things are fantastic.”

Ellen also opened up about how she and Portia make their marriage work around their careers, especially when they meet a lot of different people. Stern brings up “jealousy” and asks how they avoid it.

“Nobody gets jealous,” Ellen candidly answers. She adds, “I have faith that we love each other and literally just yesterday she (Portia) said that ‘you’re my everything’ and I said ‘I literally was just thinking that last night I was laying awake going ‘she’s my everything.’” Stern then tells Ellen that “there’s nothing more romantic” than what she just said.

According to Huffington Post, Ellen also slammed rumours about her divorce with Portia last year during her show. She reportedly called the tabloids “ridiculous” and said the only thing she and Portia argue about is who loves who more.
