The 49-year-old actress looked every bit the queen she played at the UK premier of the new drama “The Royals” on March 24. Elizabeth Hurley turned heads at the red carpet of the event which was held at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel in the centre of London. She stepped on the red carpet, which was the union jack along with her 12-year-old son Damien, according to E Online.

Hurley was dressed in a show-stopping red ensemble by Versace. The form fitting dress had subtle sheer inserts and one shoulder which showed off her svelte figure and ended just above her knees. She accessorised her look with drop earrings, a matching bracelet and strappy golden high heels. She also carried a matching nude clutch. The British beauty left her long brunette tresses loose and focussed on her eyes with a smoky effect. She used lots of mascara, eyeliner both on the upper and lower eyelids. She also applied pink blush and matching lip gloss to complete her look. The actress who plays Queen Helena in the debauched new series was pictured leaving her home wrapped in a belted brown coat.

Meanwhile Damian, her only child from her former relationship with American businessman Steve Bing, looked dapper in a navy blue blazer and a purple tie. He paired his outfit with a white shirt and grey trousers and black shoes. Liz spoke about her son on British TV show “This Morning” before the event and said he would turn 13 next month. The proud mum said Damien would like to follow her footsteps. Hurley added that he went on a film set during his last vacation and loved it, but he was not sure whether he would be in front of the camera or behind it.

“I didn’t want him to be a city kid, I wanted him to be a country kid…,” she said. The mother-son duo walked hand-in-hand up the red carpet, before posing alongside footwear designer Patrick Cox. The other stars who attended the premier included Elizabeth’s co-stars Merritt Patterson, William Moseley and Alexandra Park.
