Fans can't always expect their idols to get along with each other, especially if there had been quite a history between them. For instance, the former lovers, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, are unlikely to get along given Swift's reputation fror being a bitter ex-girlfriend. Nothing and no one certainly didn't stop Swift from slamming Styles at the recent MTV VMAs. Other than Swift, here are a few other celebs caught dissing other celebrities.

During the MTV VMAs last August, Swift was everything but the nice girl. While One Direction was onstage presenting an award, Taylor Swift was caught on camera mouthing the words "shut the f*ck up" to seatmate, Selena Gomez. The diss didn't stop there because when Taylor won the award for her song "I Knew You Were Trouble," she took another jab at Styles.

"I want to thank the fans because I tweeted about this a lot, I really wanted this. I also want to thank the person who inspired this song because he knows exactly who he is, because now I've got one of these," said Swift to which the cameras panned onto Styles face as well as his bandmates who were caught smirking.

However, Taylor Swift wasn't the only celebrity that night caught taking a swipe at her ex. "Diamonds" singer allegedly dissed Swift for seat-singing at the awards show.

"She's making a scene," said Rihanna to her seatmate, adding, "She ain't cute."

On the other hand, Harry Styles was one to diss another celebrity that night as well. Austin Mahone won the award for "Artist to Watch" at the VMAs, but Harry Styles wasn't too pleased about it. In fact, Styles tweeted about who should have won to which Austin Mahone had reacted to.

"@IGGYAZALEA should've won last night.." stated Styles on his Twitter to which Austin replied with, "Wow just found out what @Harry_Syles said!! #imstilladirectioner."

Aside from Austin, Harry also dissed Miley Cyrus for "twerking," calling it inappropriate.

"I think it's quite inappropriate. Especially for the age groups it's aimed at," explained the curly-haired One Direction member, adding, "I think it's, you know, promoting promiscuity."

The swipes and jabs are certain to happen with celebrities in Hollywood. It's just a matter of having a good comeback to determine who loses.
