A week has passed and Miley Cyrus provocative performance on the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 continues to be the talk of the town. Initially, the boys of One Direction claimed that there was nothing wrong with the performance. Yet, Harry Styles might have changed his mind about it because the curly-haired cutie slammed Miley Cyrus for "twerking" calling it out as "inappropriate."

Last Sunday's MTV VMAs was certainly one to remain on everyone's mind following Miley Cyrus' raunchy number. From the foam glove to the nude bikini, Cyrus gave viewers a lifetime of memories that are either pleasant or downright disgusting. Yet, everyone else should know Cyrus didn't do it for the talks but for breaking into the scene.

"I wasn't on drugs at all, I just wanted people to think I was. It was an act, I mean for God's sake I'm not Britney Spears or Amy Winehouse. I really want to break into the EDM scene. It's become so popular and I just love Deadmau5, Skrillex, Steve Aoki and the rest of those guys, not David Guetta though, his stuff is way too commercial for me," explained Miley.

The boys of One Direction of course immediately jumped to the defence of Miley Cyrus saying it was an enjoyable presentation.

"It was very reserved. I think she's quite shy and it's about time she came out of her shell a bit," joked Harry Styles, adding, "You can sit and watch with your kids and your grandma."

"We were shocked by how much coverage there was. I think she was shocked. I don't think she knew she would get so much attention from it. It's family friendly," added Louis Tomlinson.

"It was very nice. It was cute.. timid," continued Liam to which Niall Horan added, "I don't know why everyone's talking about it."

Yet, only a few days after Harry Styles of 1D released his say, the curly-haired cutie had a change of heart regarding Miley's VMA show. Styles particularly called out Miley's dance craze, "twerking."

"I think it's quite inappropriate. Especially for the age groups that it's aimed at," stated Harry, adding, "When they're twerking, yes. I think it's, you know, promoting promiscuity."

Did Harry Styles indirectly diss Miley Cyrus? Now what do "Smilers" and "Directioners" have to say on all this?
