Lorde and Disclosure’s latest song “Magnets” has finally been released on BBC DJ Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. Lorde informed her fans about the release of “Magnets” on her Twitter handle a few hours before it was aired officially.

“Magnets” is part of the Disclosure album “Caracal.” Some of the most-renowned vocalists, including Miguel, Sam Smith and The Weeknd, were recruited for the second second studio album of the English DJ duo.

The newly released track featuring New Zealand singer and songwriter Lorde is based on the perspective of a young woman who’s up for some late-night seduction. Lorde weaved magic to her team-up with Disclosure through her seductive voice. The teaser of Disclosure’s new song with the “Royals” hitmaker was first released in the beginning of September.

Meanwhile, "Caracal" is slated for release on Friday. In an interview with Spin in August, Disclosure's Guy Lawrence said that he was excited because Lorde's fan base will also listen and review their special collaboration.

Giving insights about the production of “Magnets,” Guy also mentioned that Lorde was a part of almost every aspect of the song – from the chords to the melodies. She was reportedly a huge motivation for the duo, and she helped them to work harder as well as perform better.

The simplicity of “Magnets”is probably its greatest asset, according to Guy. Notably, it is also the shortest song that Disclosure has ever made. Listen to it below:

Lorde has talked about her songwriting process before. "The challenge for me as a songwriter is, 'How do I tell all these friends that I've made around the world how I'm feeling, while still making something they can listen to and relate to going to college and leaving home or whatever?'" Lorde told Zane Lowe, as stated in a report from Rolling Stones. “Magnets” is Lorde’s first new song after 2014’s “Yellow Flicker Beat” from “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” album.

Disclosure has already previewed most of their tracks from “Caracal” before its official release on Friday. However, their other collaborations with various artists have yet to be unveiled.

The other tracks in Disclosure's "Caracal" album are "Nocturnal" featuring The Weeknd, “Good Intentions" featuring Miguel, "Omen" featuring Sam Smith, "Holding On" featuring Gregory Porter, "Masterpiece" featuring Jordan Rakei, "Superego" featuring Nao, "Willing and Able" featuring Kwabs and "Hourglass" featuring Lion Babe.
