Another week brings yet another reset of the “Destiny” servers. This week’s reset is the last one before “House of Wolves” is released next week, and the Nightfall and Weekly Heroic will once again send Guardians on the Will of Crota mission. The mission will see players head down to Old Russia, on Earth to do battle with the Hive Wizard, Omnigul.

First, Bungie Community Manager, Deej took to the official Bungie forums to announce that “Destiny” update 1.2.0 has been delayed. Deej stated that a late-breaking technical issue is to blame, adding that the team is working hard on fixing the problem, and will share updates on the “House of Wolves” deployment schedule shortly.

“[The team is] working to correct a late-breaking technical issue that would have impacted the way the game launches for a large portion of you. We'll be sharing new details on the deployment schedule that leads to ‘House of Wolves’ as soon as they become facts, at the very least, you'll hear from me once a day about this,” he explained, thanking fans for their patience.

Details of the Nightfall and Weekly Heroic come via the ever-reliable Arekkz Gaming YouTube channel. The Weekly Heroic is a level 24 hard strike, and comes with a tricky juggler modifier. This means that there will be no ammo drops for the player’s equipped weapons, forcing Guardians to think on their toes in the heat of combat. As always, the Heroic modifier means enemies will appear in much greater numbers, with increased aggression.

This week’s Nightfall Strike is a level 30 very hard mission, and comes with Epic, Nightfall, Arc Burn, Lightswitch and Juggler modifiers, a welcome departure from the elemental burns of recent weeks. The Epic modifier means heavily shielded and very aggressive enemies will appear in huge numbers, Arc Burn greatly increases the damage dealt from any Arc-based weapons and Lightswitch means that minions of the darkness deal increased melee damage. As usual, the Nightfall modifier will kick a fireteam back into orbit should everyone die on the field of battle.

With regard to weapon recommendations, Arekkz proposes the Fatebringer hand cannon as a primary slot weapon, due to its ability to deal heavy amounts of Arc damage, and the explosive Firefly perk for dealing with groups of enemies. Patience and Time is recommended as a secondary weapon, once again thanks to the amount of Arc damage it’s capable of dealing out. Arekkz also recommends the Ice Breaker sniper rifle for dealing with solar-shielded enemies, while stating that gamers should probably take along Thunderlord or Song of Ir Yut in their heavy slot.
