With the incoming “Destiny” The Taken King expansion, Bungie will be rolling out quite a few changes for its shooter game. As promised, the developer will do so in a grander fashion, that is to deliver a series of Twitch live streams to offer more details straight from the team behind the new expansion.

In the latest “Destiny” blog update, Bungie revealed the dates that players would need to mark to get some exclusive info firsthand. “Destiny Year Two” live stream will kick off the series on Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. PDT. Here, “Destiny” Executive Producer Mark Noseworthy will reveal how the highlights of the first year of gameplay will translate to the second year. The developer will also reveal what’s in store for the improved Tower, the changes that will happen to the Guardians and the new leveling system for Character Level and Light.

A week after, “Strike the Dreadnaught” will be live streamed on Aug. 26, where the details of the Dreadnaught, the boss battles and combat with the Taken will be revealed. Bungie has also promised that fans will get to witness the new sub-classes in combat.

On Sept. 2, Designer Ben Wommack will reveal in the loot and treasures that can be obtained in the Dreadnaught in the “Court of Oryx” live stream. Players will also get to know how they get into Public Events for year two.

Even before the live stream series, however, Bungie has started revealing some of the big changes coming to “Destiny” with The Taken King expansion. The Tower is one of the areas in the game that will receive a few changes, Gamerant reported.

The Taken King expansion will be bringing some new fixes so that players will be able to maximize and enjoy what they can get in the Tower. Since before, the Tower has been a social venue where players can meet other Guardians, get gear and obtain bounty.

Once Year Two hits, one major addition to make the process smoother is that the shaders can now be applied to the Guardians when visiting the kiosk. In addition, the any missing requirements can also be surveyed while in the Tower.

For players who want to learn more about the vendors can actually do so. They will reportedly have a more significant role in “Destiny” Year Two. One instance is Banshee-44, which will now instruct Guardians on how to get the Sleeper Simulant and show some bounties that players can get.

Additionally, some reputation levels are up for grabs just for testing out weapons. At the same time, currencies and items will change. Vanguard and Crucible Marks will now be combined to Legendary Marks, while some items used for crafting will be merged with other materials.

“Destiny” The Taken King will launch on Sept.1, marking the second year of the game’s lifespan. It will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
