'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Oct. 31: Hope owns up to her crime; Steve and John work together for another rescue mission
The horror continues in Salem as a shocking bombshell rocks the city on the next episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Monday, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) gets arrested after Andre (Thaoo Penghlis) exposed her bloody secret. She accepts full responsibility for the crime and seeks to protect Rafe (Galen Gering) and Roman (Josh Taylor).
Meanwhile, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and John (Drake Hogestyn) act as heroes once again, this time, in the hopes of saving Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) from the dangerous hands of Orpheus (George DelHoyo). Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Oct. 31 installment include Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), Chad (Billy Flynn), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

TV Guide reports that on Monday’s run of “DOOL,” John and Steve scour the city for Marlena and Kayla. Elsewhere, Hope, Rafe and Roman are stunned as the public hears her bloody confession, while Chad reels after finding the truth about his father’s murder.

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap
In the previous episode, the hospital hosted a magic show and Steve, Kayla, John and Marlena gamely watched. Marlena, however, felt something was off with the magician. Later, the magician asked Kayla and Marlena to be part of his next trick. He put each of them in a box and told the kids not to take their eyes off them. When the lights went out, he disappeared. As if on cue, a nurse gave Steve and John a note saying that the missing body belonged to Orpheus. Steve and John immediately ran to the boxes, only to find them empty.
At the park, Rafe and Hope showed up in full costumes, along with the other Salemites. Soon, Andre approached Hope and quoted Shakespeare to compliment how beautiful she looked. Andre said he’s glad they’re all present. Everyone was in good spirits, especially during the awarding, where JJ was given recognition after being shot in the line of duty. As he went on stage to accept the award, Hope and Rafe walked to the podium. A shocking turn of events then followed: Hope's voice was overheard on the speaker system revealing, “I killed Stefano.” To say that everyone was gutted is an understatement. Hope gasped in horror as she hears her own confession being played in public.
