'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Dec. 9: Abby resorts to drastic measures; disturbing news draws Chad and Gabi closer; Eve returns to Salem for Brady
Salem City faces a day filled with bombshells and surprises as “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) closes the week. On Friday, Abby (Marci Miller) turns desperate as she tries to keep her secret. Spoilers suggest that she’ll decide to blackmail Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) to make sure he won’t blab the truth about her.
While she’s busy trying to lie low, her husband Chad (Billy Flynn) encounters another chance to get closer – quite literally – with Gabi (Camilla Banus) when she consoles him about his dad. Meanwhile, Brad (Eric Martsolf) also receives comfort when Eve (Kassie DePaiva) arrives in town. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Dec. 9 installment include Eduardo (A Martinez), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry).

TV Guide reports that on Friday’s run of “DOOL,” Eduardo and Dario sit down to thresh out their covert strategy. Abby, on the other hand, issues someone a threat to prevent her secret from being exposed. Meanwhile, Eve heads back to Salem, catching Brady in surprise. Elsewhere, Chad is shattered upon hearing new information about his dad and Gabi offers him a shoulder to cry on.

In the previous episode, Chad went to the police station and learned about his father’s denied life insurance policy. Stefano’s doctor was there and he informed Chad that his dad was terminally ill with colon cancer. Stefano knew that he’s dying, the doctor said. Rafe and Shawn tried to convince Chad that this is the reason why Stefano pushed Hope into killing him. However, Chad refused to buy that it’s “suicide by cop,” as Shawn put it.
Meanwhile, Nicole and Deimos talked about Chloe and her baby. Deimos wondered if Chloe lied and she really is carrying Nicole's child with Daniel. Later, Deimos called up someone and found out that the man kidnapped and tied Philip up. Deimos ordered the guy to inject Philip with drugs to force him to tell what he knows about Chloe. Elsewhere, Dario was shocked to discover that Abby’s alive. She implored him to keep quiet or she’ll tell the cops he's doing something illegal.
