With only a few days before the year ends, Salem faces more shocking developments that usher in unexpected twists. On Tuesday’s episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”), Hope (Kristian Alfonso) realises that her life may now be in grave danger after her sole defender in prison was killed.

Spoilers suggest that she refuses to be a sitting duck and decides to take action – she ropes in other inmates who are also sick and tired of being bullied behind bars. Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) also work out a plan of action to let everyone know the truth about Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) baby.

Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Dec. 27 installment include Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Kate (Lauren Koslow), Andre (Thaoo Penghlis), Rafe (Galen Gering), Marlena (Deidre Hall), Roman (Josh Taylor), Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

In the previous episode, a young prisoner named Annabelle (Alisa Allapach), was attacked until Hope came to intervene. The other inmates then turned their attention to Hope, but fortunately she was saved by another inmate.

Meanwhile, Gabi (Camila Banus) headed to the mansion to reveal the truth about Abby (Marci Miller), but Chad (Billy Flynn) already knows his wife is alive. Gabi gave Abby an embrace and mentioned how devastated Chad was. “Thank goodness you were there to help him pick up the pieces,” Abby replied, adding that she saw them kissing. Chad argued that Abby should blame herself for making them think she was dead. Later, Abby told Chad that she hopes things would go back to where they left off. However, Chad was still livid and couldn’t promise her anything. He admitted that he’s afraid to trust her again and that he’s scared she would run away when another challenge surfaces. Chad then said that he needs time to figure things out, but asked her to stay there. Elsewhere, JJ (Casey Moss) pleaded to get back with Gabi, but she said his latest decision to keep Abby’s secret made her realise they’re not meant to be together.
