Big revelations and stunning twists hound Salem City as “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) opens the week. On Monday, Chad (Billy Flynn) decides to visit Hope (Kristian Alfonso) in prison and shares with her and Rafe (Galen Gering) what he learned about Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).

Chad’s latest discovery seems to support Rafe’s theory that Stefano deliberately provoked Hope to kill him, knowing that he’s terminally ill anyway. Even in his death, The Phoenix still played his mind games, manipulating others. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Dec. 12 installment include Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Roman (Josh Taylor), Hattie (Deidre Hall), Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva).

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

In the previous episode, Chad opened up to Gabi about his father, telling her that Stefano used Hope to end his life. Later, Chad told his brother about how Stefano set Hope up. Andre revealed that he didn’t have any idea that their father was ill. They argued about letting Hope stay in prison before Stefano said he had to leave. Harold then appeared and said that he overheard their conversation. Harold showed Chad an unregistered gun inside a box, saying that Stefano once told him, “If I do my job correctly, someone will shoot me.” Chad reeled at this new revelation. He seethed over his father’s behaviour, even up to the event leading to his death.

Meanwhile, Abby threatened Dario to keep quiet about her being alive and shared with him about her PTSD and depression. An argument ensued between the two, and Abby asked him about Chad’s relationship with Gabi. At that point, Gabi appeared, calling Dario and prompting Abby to hide. While confronting him for buying a fake bag, Gabi heard a noise and assumed that Dario’s hiding a woman. When Gabi left, Abby and Dario agreed to keep each other's secrets. Later, Abby went home and told Jennifer about what happened with Dario. Abby then said she’ll reveal herself to Chad soon, but first she wants to talk to Laura.
