The Arsenal beat off competition from Chelsea and Manchester United to snap up David Beckham's eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham. The Gunners signed the 15-year-old onto a short-term contract, after he showed his skills at the Gunners' training ground.

Although Brooklyn's superstar father, David Beckham, won every major prize with Manchester United before he transferred to Real Madrid, there is a possible long-term major deal for Brooklyn in Arsenal if he continues to shine on the pitch for the under 16s. "Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played," an Arsenal source told the Daily Star. "He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club." According to the same report, the 15-year-old Brooklyn might have a big-money deal with Arsenal next summer.

Brooklyn's younger brothers Romeo, 12, and Cruz, 9, are also shining in the Arsenal youth setups as their England legend father has been taking them to the Emirates on a number of occasions. Despite David Beckham's past with the Red Devils, the Beckhams appear to have a strong link with Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Romeo shine in modelling as well. Brooklyn recently appeared in New York Times Style Magazine modelling Gap and Prada while Romeo has become one of the world's highest-earning models, hour-for-hour, in a new Burberry ad. Being the newest model of Burberry, the 12-year-old earned 45,000 GBP.

Typically, Burberry models earn less than half of the hefty paycheck that Romeo received. According to the Burberry model Jamie Campbell Bower, it would be difficult for other models to match the lucrative pay packet of the kid. The deal was secured by the mastermind of the Brand Beckham, Simon Fuller, who was also the former Spice Girls manager.

In Romeo's ad, he was dancing in a Burberry trench coat, black suit and cashmere scarf in the signature camel, black, white and red check. Romeo previously modelled Burberry at the age of 10 in 2013.
