With a whole host of players linked to arrive at Manchester United, it was imperative that some of them leave. The first set of suspects seems to be club vice-captain Darren Fletcher, on-loan striker Radamel Falcao and another young striker out on loan to Dinamo Zagreb, Angelo Henriquez.

Darren Fletcher could leave the club as early as the present transfer window. He has currently recovered from a long standing chronic bowel condition. He was made vice-captain at the beginning of the season when the new manager Louis van Gaal arrived at the club. Unfortunately his contract, which expires at the end of the season, has not been renewed by the club. This means either the club cash in on their asset now or risk the imminent prospect of losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season. It had been widely reported that West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis had shown an interest to sign the midfielder in the recent past.

Radamel Falcao seems to have gotten another chance to impress the club after first choice striker Robin van Persie succumbed to an ankle injury. With the striker out at least for the short term, the Colombian could theoretically, with a string of goal scoring performances make a case for his permanent transfer. So far this season he has scored just three goals in 11 appearances for the club. A return that is not good enough according to the manager. He has let go of promising young strikers like Danny Welbeck with similar strike rate. Falcao a prolific striker in his Atletico Madrid days seems to have lost his way at Monaco and might be short on confidence at Old Trafford.

Finally in an almost done deal Manchester United's Chilean young striker Angelo Henriquez, who was already on a season long loan at the Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb, is on the verge of signing a permanent deal with them. He has already scored 10 goals in 15 games and the club are looking to offer £780,000 as transfer fee to Manchester United. United bought him for £4M from Universidad de Chile in 2012.
