Fans were definitely excited to catch a glimpse of actor Daniel Craig as well as the entire cast of the much anticipated James Bond film "Skyfall" during its Tuesday red carpet premiere in London. On its 50th year since the very first James Bond film "Dr. No" was released, Mr. Craig acknowledges the privilege of working on the latest film, which has so far earned the critics favor.

"It is just a real honor to be part of it and to have a chance to make a movie in this 50th year. There is nothing quite like it but this feels even more special for me than the ones that have gone before," Craig told Sky News on the red carpet.

The 44-year-old British actor hopes that "Skyfall" would exude a lighter side to the movie audience.

"It's a good, dense storyline but it is adult in many ways. It's also got a lot of fun in it and people might be surprised by the fact that there's a lightness of touch in the movie that hasn't been in the last two," Craig revealed in another interview for Time Out magazine.

In "Skyfall," Dame Judi Dench also reprises her role as M while Spanish actor Javier Bardem portrays the new villain, Raoul Silva.

The veteran actress Ms Dench revealed to BBC TV that being a part of the James Bond movie franchise is truly an exceptional experience.

"It is quite different from any other film. And they make you very, very welcome and they make you feel part of the franchise and part of the family," Dench told BBC TV.

Film director Sam Mendes claimed that his working experience in his first ever James Bond movie project is totally nerve-wracking.

"You're looking after something that is public property and you have to treat it properly," Mendez told Sky News before the movie screening. "I just wanted to make a film that I would like to see. If you spend too much time worrying about the Bond the world wants to see, there is no perfect Bond. And I just wanted to channel my inner 13-year-old boy."

Meanwhile, movie critics are currently proclaiming that "Skyfall" is one of the best James Bond films that have graced the big screen for half a century now. "Skyfall" will be officially released in Australian theaters on November 22.
