Actor Gary Busey and his partner Anna Trebunskaya were given the boot on “Dancing With The Stars” Week 4 "Most Memorable Year" themed night held on Monday. Based on their performances from the previous two weeks and the lowest combined total of viewers’ votes and judges’ scores, the dancing partners were eliminated.

The 71-year-old actor had struggled with his debut routine, but later, the judges said the Oscar-nominated actor had shown improvement and diligence in learning his material. Though he remained mostly on the bottom of the leaderboard in Season 21, the audience appeared to appreciate his performances and his unpredictable, humourous and deeply contemplative answers to questions posed by show co-host Erin Andrews. He was able to score only 16 points, Yahoo reported.

Carlos PenaVega and pro Witney Carson did the Viennese waltz to “Amazing Grace” by Ray Chew Live. His dance had emotion and was also simple and beautiful. His dance earned him a score of 25 out of 30 points. Nick Carter and pro Sharna Burgess , Hayes Grier and pro Emma Slater and Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy all were tied at 27 points each.

Nick’s jazz performance along with pro partner Sharna was the most entertaining of the night. They danced to “Everybody” by Backstreet Boys — Nick’s most memorable year is 1992, the year he met the Backstreet Boys, TV Line reported. Sharna said the dance was a way for Nick to say thank you and I love you to the rest of the Boys.

Grier along with Emma danced a contemporary routine, “Stitches” by Shawn Mendes. He went on tour and started performing with his brother in 2014 and also started making Vine videos. Tamar and Val performed the Rumba to “King” by Tamar Braxton. Val agreed that there was a slight disconnect and told the judges that from next time on, he wants to bring out their chemistry when they dance.

Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough walked away with the highest score of the night 28 points. They danced c ontemporary to “Every Breath You Take” by Aaron Krause f. Liza Anne. The Australian star paid a tribute to her dad Steve Irwin, popularly known as ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ through her dance, Wetpaint reported.

The teen broke down in the arms of her partner Hough after the dance routine. It has been nine years since her dad died in 2006. Her mother Terri who was seated in the audience said that Bindi and Steve were inseparable. It took her daughter a long time to understand what actually happened.
