As Criminal Minds Season 9 nears its 200th episode, more teasers have been coming out, the latest being an interview with AJ Cook. Speaking with Belfast Telegraph at the HFPA and InStyle Part in celebration of the 2014 Golden Globes, AJ Cook, who plays Agent Jennifer "JJ" Jareau, gives her two cents' about the upcoming milestone and her character.

Recap of Criminal Minds Season 9 Episode 9: See some of the BAU team's skeletons in the closet.

"She's changed a lot. She's become a strong woman. She's not that meek, shy kind of girl anymore. The 200th episode is gonna explain what happened to her that made her sort of a tough bitch," said Cook.

Aside from Paget Brewster, who returns as Agent Emily Prentiss for Criminal Minds Season 9, 200th episode, there will also be a nod to the long-kept and long-dodged secret between new section chief Mateo Cruz (Esai Morales) and JJ. Their little secret has been hinted in small portions in several past episodes, like in Criminal Minds Season 9 Episode 9.

"Our 200th episode, we're about to shoot right after Thanksgiving, and it's a huge JJ episode, so I'm really excited. The 200th episode is like a mini action movie. It's crazy. I'm covered in bruises, I'm doing my own stunts," she added.

This may be a break from what the crew and cast have been doing with most of the past Criminal Minds Season 9 episodes, which Cook described to be episodes that "deal with a lot of relevant issues that are going on in the world today."
