Favorite on- and off-screen couple Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev is still apart from each other due to their busy promoting schedules for this week. The "Vampire Diaries" actor has been spending his time in New York City while his lady love Nina Dobrev is in Los Angeles, California.

On Tuesday night, Nina Dobrev made a guest appearance in the TV show "Conan" to discuss and promote "The Vampire Diaries." During the interview with the TV host Conan O'Brien, Nina Dobrev did a fantastic job and even charmed the crowd.

"Picture says it all, yet another AMAZING experience w/ my favorite redhead [Conan O'Brien] !Tune in/Watch tonight on TBS!" the 24-year-old actress posted on her Twitter account @ninadobrev.

Ian Somerhalder arrived at the Sirius studios in New York City on Wednesday to chat on air. "At Sirius in NYC- Going to chill with @realsway on Shade45! Oh yeah...," Ian excitedly shared on his Twitter account @iansomerhalder.

Recently, the 34-year-old heartthrob actor made a guest appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen. During the interview, Ian Somerhalder seemed cautious to use the world "girlfriend" to call Nina Dobrev or describe the status of their relationship.

Instead, Ian acknowledged himself as someone who is "definitely not single." For the past year an a half that they had been dating, Ian and Nina managed to professionally work together in the "Vampire Diaries" series and travel the world together.

Ian Somerhalder further revealed that he just loves how Nina Dobrev lives her life in the moment as well as appreciating everything that is happening right in front of her eyes. Ian says he loves how Nina just lives in the moment and appreciates what is happening in front of her eyes.

The couple is currently on a work break from the successful TV series "The Vampire Diaries" and they have not been spotted together in public. Split rumors even began to surface but since it has not been confirmed true, fans are hoping that Ian and Nina will make up for the time that they spent away from each other very soon.
