"Clash Royale" May update brings more Gold for better grind. Supercell

The “Clash Royale” March update did not get released on March 2. There was no big update or event on the first anniversary of the game. However, a notice was given to players through the game that there is a special event that would take place in a few hours. On top of this, there is a leak that a new “Team Battle” feature will be coming just around the corner.

A quick update of “Clash Royale” gave its players a special event that will be released in a few hours. There are two special events that will take place. This includes the Classic Draft Challenge and the Grand Draft Challenge. The former has one free entry and will most likely follow the usual 10 Gems, the premium in-game currency, entry fee after. The latter, on the other hand, costs 100 Gems to enter. According to the tweet, it will last from March 2 to 6.

The mechanics of the Draft Challenge has been used before. It is a unique way of how the player and the enemy will make each other’s battle decks. Since one battle deck has eight cards, each player will have a choice between two card. When one card is picked, it will be given to the other player. This is repeated until the deck will be complete. Therefore, it means that each player will know four of the cards in the other person’s deck. The game includes all cards, such as legendary and cards that have not yet unlocked by a player. This allows the possibility of using a new card. According to the blog, the draft challenge will be available from March 3 to March 6, while the Friendly Battles with clanmates will take place on March 2 to March 6.

What is the Team Battle

At this point in time, no one really knows whether or not a team battle update will happen. This news came from a forum with a leaked photo from Lach, one of the developers of the game. However, there is no conclusive data as to what the photo really means as it is not complete. The leak was released through the Clash Royale Forum. This may be a ploy to provide “Clash Royale” fans something to look forward to.

During their anniversary day, the Clash Royale developers thanked players for their continued support. They sent out a tweet saying thank you then shared a video of a cake exploding. (See tweet below.)
