The biggest update for “Clash of Clans” was released recently, and players were treated to a lot of new content, which provides players with more hours of playing time as well as an increased difficulty cap. Aside from new structures and units, players will also have access to several new gameplay features that further spice up “Clash of Clans.”

Before releasing the update, Supercell treated players to two weeks of sneak peeks regarding the update. The update changes up the plans of “Clash of Clans” players, so Touch Arcade provided a short run-down of the changes now made available.

Perhaps the first thing that the players will notice after downloading the update is the bigger map size. The map of “Clash of Clans” has been upsized from 40 x 40 to 44 x 44. This leaves room for more structures as well as a bigger area to raid and defend. As such, Supercell also extended the time for raiding another player’s village.

Aside from a new level 11 upgrade for the Town Hall, the structure also received a few gameplay changes. First off, the Town Hall now acts as a storage for resources, so destroying it rewards players with loot. Destroying a Town Hall will also not give the defending player a shield. As for more offensive players, they can now attack without disabling the shield on their Town Halls. Instead, a certain amount of time will be deducted from their shields.

As for the new units, the update introduces an all-new Eagle Artillery Structure, a level 7 Minion and a new hero, The Grand Warden. All of these come at a hefty portion of resources, so players should start saving up if they haven’t yet.
