The so-called massive update for city-building sim “Clash of Clans” is coming this month. Supercell has done well in giving fans a taste of what’s to come with the sneak peeks. The latest of these sneak peeks reveal another big addition coming to the game; a brand new hero.

Joining the ranks of the Barbarian King and the Archer Queen is a whole new hero called the Grand Warden. The all-new hero will be coming to “Clash of Clans” when the Town Hall 11 update rolls out Touch Arcade reports.

The Grand Warden, unlike the Barbarian King and Archer King, can only be upgradable to level 20 through the use of Elixirs. He can attack both air and ground units, so he’s a very flexible unit and he can attack a slew of enemy units and structures.

He doesn’t possess as much HP as the Barbarian King and as much damage as the Archer Queen, but he does possess certain abilities that can be very useful in battle. The unnamed ability affects units in a large circle around the hero. All the units within the circle are treated to an HP boost, which makes the units more durable.

His active ability is not one to undermine as well. The ability called Eternal Tome makes the Grand Warden an all the units in his area of effect become invulnerable for a short amount of time. Considering that several structures will be upgraded along with the Town Hall 11 update, the skill will prove to be very useful. It is worth noting that Eternal Tome will not negate the damage taken from traps, such as Big Bombs, Areal Bombs and others.

The Grand Warden is also proving to be a very durable hero unit. However, Supercell is set to reveal more about the upcoming hero in future sneak peeks.
