Rebekah Mikaelson (Claire Holt) has returned in "The Originals" Season 2 to reunite with her siblings while dealing with the Mikaelson family issues involving Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) daughter, Hope. The fans who are wondering if the blonde Original vampire will also reunite with her former flame Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Aussie actress Claire Holt has the answer.

"I will say that I definitely shot a scene with him but I can't say whether it's romantic or positive or whatever," Holt revealed to TVLine regarding her on-screen time with co-star Charles Michael Davis. In "The Originals" Season 1, Rebekah left New Orleans behind as well as the people she cares about in order to life the life that she wanted.

The 26-year-old Aussie actress revealed in the interview that it was a crazy time for her character, Rebekah, when she left in "The Originals" Season 1, episode 16 titled "Farewell to Storyville." According to Claire Holt, Rebekah left with a lot of tension and friction with Klaus after the Original hybrid found out that his sister betrayed him when she summoned their "destroyer" father, Mikael (Sebastian Roché).

The actress shared that Rebekah's return in "The Originals" Season 2 is one of the rare times that the Mikaelson family members come back together on the same side or team. However, Claire Holt admitted that the difficult part in Rebekah's return is to give baby Hope back to her parents, Klaus and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), and she will struggle with it big time.

Claire Holt explained that raising baby Hope has made Rebekah want to have a child of her own. "She knows Hayley is Hope's mother, and she has to return her, but she's fiercely protective and loves that child. It's going to be difficult for her," Holt further added.

Rebekah Mikaelson is set to make another appearance in the mid-season finale episode titled "The Map of Moments" but it could be her last for "The Originals" Season 2. However, Claire Holt assured the fans that there is still a possibility for her character to return. "You never know where the story is going to go. I wouldn't shut the door," Holt stated.

Meanwhile, the other doors of opportunity are opening up to Claire Holt such as the upcoming NBC series titled "Aquarius" and the upcoming "Supergirl" series. According to the exclusive The Wrap report, an unnamed insider revealed that Claire Holt is one of the actresses being tested for the lead role in CBS's comic-book adaptation series.

In the meantime, the fans can watch Claire Holt returning as Rebekah Mikaelson in "The Originals" Season 2, episode 9 titled "The Map of Moments" which is scheduled to air on Monday night, Dec. 8 at 8/7c on the CW Network.
