Sony introduced the mid-range Xperia C5 Ultra and the high-end Xperia M5 on Aug. 3. Here, readers can check out the key specifications, pricing details, availability, photos and a video ad of the devices.

Sony Xperis C5 Ultra

Speaking of Sony Xperia C5 Ultra specifications, Sony Mobile says, the handset comes with a huge 6.0-inch display, fitted with 1080p screen resolution. The device is only 8.2 mm thick and weighs 187 g. On the software end, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, straight out of the box. Under the hood, the handset comes powered by an octa-core (MediaTek MT6752) SoC, running at 1.7 GHz and backed by 2 GB of RAM unit.

When it comes to camera specifications, the Xperis C5 Ultra reportedly sports a cool 13 MP rear-facing sensor, along with a 13 MP front-facing snapper for selfies. The icing on the cake, however, is the LED flash located at the rear as well on the front of the smartphone. Furthermore, the phone houses a good 16 GB of built-in storage capacity and microSD card slot for further expansion. A 2,930 mAh battery unit keeps the lights on. Moving on to the Xperia C5 Ultra price, the handset will likely cost in the ambit of $350, says Phone Arena.

On the other hand, the Sony Xperia M5 specifications include a pocket-friendly 5.0-inch display, aided by 1080p screen resolution. To top it off, this handset apparently features a dust- and water-resistant exterior and hence, it is IP 68-certified. Under the hood, an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, running at 2.0 GHz powers the device. Plus, it is backed by a good 3 GB of RAM, according to Sony Mobile.

The Xperia M5 comes equipped with 16 GB of expandable storage space, along with 2,600 mAh battery unit. Other key features include a 13 MP front-facing camera, 21.5 MP main sensor, 5x clear image zoom and 4K video recording. Speaking of Xperia M5 price, the handset will reportedly set the buyers back by $400, says Phone Arena. In any case, readers should note that, the pricing details have not been officially confirmed by Sony yet. In the meantime, Sony’s blog says, both the devices will be made available from mid-August onwards. However, these handsets will be restricted to selected countries only.
