“The Celebrity Apprentice Australia” Season 4 winner Sophie Monk recently revealed that nine years ago she was asked to audition for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. However, she said she declined the offer because she was worried about how it would affect her in the future.

''I got asked to audition for it but I decided no,” TV3 quoted Monk as saying while hosting Australia's 106.5 Summer Fling breakfast show with Matty Acton. “I didn't want to worry about my body my whole life.”

Monk revealed that the lingerie bosses asked her to audition for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after the release of the 2006 romantic comedy “Date Movie,” in which she starred with Jennifer Coolidge, Fred Willard and “How I Met Your Mother” alum Alyson Hannigan. She said she told them that she did not want her life to be around diets.

After “Date Movie,” Monk starred in several films including “Click,” “Sex and Death 101,” “Spring Breakdown,” “Hard Breakers” and “The Legend of Awesomest Maximus.” The most recent movie she starred in was the 2011 romantic comedy “Dorfman in Love.”

On Nov. 18, Monk was declared the winner of “The Celebrity Apprentice Australia” Season 4 with former “Big Brother” winner Tim Dormer as runner-up. She played for Make-A-Wish Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to arranging experiences for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Monk told Pop Sugar Australia that although “The Celebrity Apprentice Australia” Season 4” was just a TV show to the outside, it truly taught her important lessons about negotiation, business and putting herself outside of her comfort zone. She considered winning the reality show a great achievement not only for her but also for the wonderful people behind the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

In 2016, Monk will star in the horror film “Blood Feast” opposite Robert Rusler and Caroline Williams. “The Celebrity Apprentice Australia” Season 4” winner is also set to star in the upcoming comedy film “Spring Break ’83.”
