Caroline Wozniacki is setting higher goals next season. In a recent interview, she said that aside from continuing her quest to improve her game, the Dane tennis star will keep trying to win grand slams and the big tournaments in 2016. She also hopes to win a medal at the Rio Olympics.

Wozniacki will begin her 2016 at the ASB Classic, which will run from Jan. 4 to Jan. 9. She revealed that she is ready to take on the best players in the tournament. She is certain that she will win the Auckland event as long as she is able to play her best among the players who are also included in the draw, such as defending champion Venus Williams, who beat her in this year’s final, and Ava Ivanovic.

“I have had a great season so I feel I’m on the top of my game,” Wozniacki said in an interview, as quoted by New Zealand Herald. “In this form, I can beat anybody so if I play to my best during the tournament, I will be holding the trophy in the end of the week.”

Wozniacki has yet to win a grand slam title, and she also revealed that she will not stop her pursuit until she gets one. The best results that the former World No. 1 achieved in a grand slam setup was when she made the finals of the US Open in 2009 (lost to Kim Clijsters 7-5 6-3) and in 2014 (lost to Serena Williams 6-3 6-3).

In regard to the upcoming Rio Olympics, she said that she doesn’t want to be just part of it, but she aims to bring pride to her country as well by winning a medal. Wozniacki has yet to win an Olympic medal, as she lost to her tennis pal Serena in the quarterfinals of the 2012 London Olympics.

“My goal is for this season to win one or more grand slams and get a medal at the Olympics in Rio,” she said.
