Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch, has confirmed that Daniel Bruhl is playing the main antagonist, Baron Zemo, in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War.”

“Daniel Brühl is an incredible actor and he's playing the main villain in it,” she said to Premiere. She called the actor immensely talented.

And she spilled some details about “Captain America: Civil War,” saying, “It's a movie about people as opposed to robots this time, so it's darker and it's allowed to be darker because it gets more in the mindset of humans rather than machines.”

Bruhl shot his part for the film earlier this year. The film’s humongous set put him in daze. He told Independent that he felt like a little boy on the sets of “Captain America: Civil War.” Also he felt that the budget of the film is so “huge” that 20 films could be made in it.

The exact details about how the actor will factor in the film have not been revealed. In the comics, Zemo, who keeps his face covered with a red mask, is depicted as a top scientist of the Nazi party who fought Captain America and his team members in World War II, and it is his genius mind that created weapons of mass destruction for Hitler’s army

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the character first appeared as Dr. Heinrich Zemo in “The Avengers No 6,” and he later appeared as Helmut J. Zemo in “The Death Ray of Dr. Zemo.”

“Captain America: Civil War” will see the formation of two groups of Avengers. One of the groups will be headed by Captain America (Chris Evans), while the other by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) The film also stars Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.

The other cast members of the film include Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, and Paul Rudd, Frank Grillo, Tom Holland and William Hurt. It opens May 6, 2016 in 3D and IMAX.
