"Captain America: Civil War" will see the team divided into two leadership, one under Tony Stark and the other with Steve Rogers. Just whose side will each Avenger turn to remains uncertain. However, Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky Barnes a.k.a. Winter Soldier, reportedly recently hinted his allegiance with Tony Stark.

Sebastian Stan recently shared a photo on his Instagram page providing a closer look at Bucky Barnes’ facial hair. The actor also captioned his close-up photo with the hash tags #marvel, #civilwar and #pickyourside. However, Comic Book Movie noted how the actor had initially also tagged Robert Downey Jr. on his post, which supposedly suggests that Winter Soldier will be siding with Tony Stark instead of his best friend Captain America in “Civil War.” However, the tag has since been deleted from the actor’s post.

Sebastian Stan’s photo has since received over 42 thousand likes and over five thousand comments since he shared it on June 4. One user named _clairecarroll also thought that the actor’s character, Bucky Barnes a.k.a. Winter Soldier, will be siding with Tony Stark on his battle with the super soldier in “Captain America: Civil War.”

According to Comic Book Movie, Stan’s photo came after Robert Downey Jr. also took to his Instagram page over the weekend to talk about “Captain America: Civil War.” The actor, who plays as Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, shared a photo along with the caption, “We work weekends ..for your viewing pleasure.” He added the hash tags #marvel and #civilwar and also encouraged fans to choose allegiance between Stark and Captain America with the hash tag #pickyourside. His post has since received over 205 thousand likes and over four thousand comments since he shared it on May 31.

“Captain America: Civil War” will see the Avengers divided into two sides because of the Superhuman Registration Act. In the Marvel comics, the bill calls for the mandatory registration of all super-powered individuals with the government, which Steve Rogers is apparently against the idea. According to Yahoo Movies UK, Hawkeye will choose to be on Cap’s side as well or run the risk of having the identity of his family, which was introduced in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” revealed to the government.
