Call of Duty
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" from Treyarch will be released on Nov. 6. Activision

Treyarch has confirmed that a couple of new items and gears will launch for the Black Market on “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” These will add to the ever-growing list of items that can be obtained and used in the multiplayer mode of the title.

In the most recent Activision blog update, the publisher announced that there will be new outfits, cosmetic items, camos and even taunts that can be purchased in the Black Market. But more importantly, there will also be new melee weapons as well.

The three weapons include the Butterfly Knife, the Wrench and Brass Knuckles. All of the new weapon additions can be used as secondary weapons. These are obtainable via the Supply Drops.

For the cosmetic additions, Treyarch has released new body and head variants for all of the Specialists. There are also added Epic rarity camo and Calling Cards for all versions of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.”

The good thing about this is that, unlike the new “Call of Duty” Points, which need to be purchased with real money, the Black Market additions can easily be obtained just from playing “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” The Cryptokeys earned can be traded in for Supply Drops via the Black Market.

As promised, Activision has also released the Points for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” Charlie Intel reported that the Xbox One Store can be seen with different bundles of the “Call of Duty” points. These can be used to get either more Supply Drops in multiplayer or more Vials of Liquid Divinium when in the Shadows of Evil mode.

There are a total of four bundles to choose from. For 200 “Call of Duty” Points, it will cost players $2.70. A total of 1,100 (100 of which are bonus points), are available for $13.45. The $26.95 bundle brings 2,000 points with an additional 400 bonus Points. And finally, for $53.95, players can get 4,000 bonus points and an additional 1,000 points.

The “Call of Duty” points are also set to debut on the PS4 and PC. Activision assured that these are purely optional microtransactions.
