As if players everywhere around the world didn't have enough reasons to replay "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare." The latest iteration of the "Call of Duty" franchise was a smash hit, garnering praise from critics for its new gameplay additions, interesting story and stellar acting from veteran voice actor Troy Baker and Academy Award-winner Kevin Spacey, while also selling fairly well. Now the game seeks to challenge players by adding Supply Drop Daily Missions into the mix for the game's latest update.

Once players download the update, they can find these missions in the challenge menu, where they will be able to see what tasks lay ahead of them and their progress towards completing these goals. The missions will also be displayed in the find match menu, where players who are already deep into the action of multiplayer can discover them.

While these challenges are optional, they also have their own set of rewards when completed. The goals in these Supply Drop Daily Missions vary. They range from killing a specific amount of enemies with a specific weapon to completing certain tasks in a game mode. Players who complete these challenges will get bonus XP, a supply drop and an exclusive set of armour.

IGN reports that players who complete these missions will get special gear that cannot be obtained through other means in the game. The new set was showcased in the Sledgehammer Games community forums where it was entitled the KVA Recon set and was designed to be bold, while still feeling realistic.

The update also fixed various bugs that gave the game big problems before. Matchmaking and Connectivity improvements were made for a smoother online experience and updated the playlist menu and the sorting of character gear when customising characters. No word on whether the consoles of the previous generation - the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 - will be getting all these new features, although a new update for them was announced by PlayStation Lifestyle it is unknown if it will bring the Supply Drop Daily Missions or the KVA Recon set. The update is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
