Motorola is running a new hot deal that allows users to avail the newly announced Moto E 2015 for free with the purchase of the second generation Moto X. Motorola is selling the unlocked SIM version of the Moto X Gen 2 for $399, and it now comes with the originally $119.99-priced Moto E 2015 (3G edition) for free. The LTE edition of Moto E 2015 is not included in the deal.

The deal is only available on the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition handsets that are designed through the online Moto Maker tool or on the Moto X editions available at subsidised costs from carriers like AT&T and Verizon, Phone Arena reports. The free Moto E promotional offer will expire on March 24. As of this writing, the deal is only available on the U.S. edition of Motorola’s website.

Motorola Moto X Gen 2

The Moto X 2015 features a 5.2-inch AMOLED display that supports full HD resolution along with a pixel count of 424 ppi. It is one of the first smartphones to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. It is powered by Snapdragon 801 chipset that contains a Krait 400 quad-core processor that offers a processing speed of 2.5 GHz along with Adreno 330 graphics. The chipset is supported by 2 GB of RAM.

The Moto X 2014 comes with two internal storage options: 16 GB and 32 GB. There is also a 64 GB edition available exclusively through AT&T and T-Mobile. The handset does not have a microSD card slot.

Moreover, the device is fitted with a 13 MP rear camera with dual LED flash and houses a 2 MP front camera. The Moto X Gen 2 supports LTE connectivity and is equipped with a non-removable 2300 mAh battery.

Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen

Moto E 2015 houses a 4.5-inch IPS LCD screen that supports 540 x 960 pixels and a pixel count of 245 ppi. There are two versions of the Moto E; one supports 3G connectivity featuring Snapdragon 200 chipset while the other one supports 3G as well as LTE connectivity and features Snapdragon 410 chipset.

The device is packed with 1 GB of RAM, internal storage of 8 GB and support for up to 32 GB of memory via microSD card slot. There is a 5 MP camera without LED flash on the rear while a VGA camera module is placed at the front. The device is powered by a larger non-removable battery with 2390 mAh capacity.

Motorola is also offering huge discounts on Nexus 6, Moto X, Moto G and Moto 360 through its Friend with Moto promotional campaign.
