Moto E (2015) has been launched. It will available with two CPU variants. One is powered with Snapdragon 200 chipset and offers only 3G connectivity. The other one features Snapdragon 410 chipset that support LTE connectivity. Here we have compared the specifications of the Snapdragon 200 SoC variant with the Microsoft Lumia 535 to know which one offers better features:

Design And Display

The Moto E (2015) measures 12.3 mm in thickness and weighs 145 g. On the other hand, the Lumia 535 is slimmer with a thickness of 8.8 mm and weighs 146 g. The former is available only in two colour options - black and white, but the latter is available in multiple colours like orange, green, white, black and so on.

The Moto E (2015) houses a 4.5-inch screen whereas the Lumia 535 features 5-inch display. Both the displays are of IPS LCD technology and support 540 x 960 pixels.

Processor, RAM And Storage

Both the handsets are on par in the processor department, as both feature Snapdragon 200 chipset that includes a Cortex A7 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 302 graphics. Both the devices come with 1 GB of RAM.

The internal storage available on the Moto E (2015) is 8 GB and even the Lumia 535 comes with the same native storage support. However, the Moto E (2015) supports up to 32 GB of microSD whereas the Lumia 535’s microSD card slot offers up to 128 GB of storage.

Camera And Software

The Motorola Moto E (2015) has a 5 MP camera at the rear. It does not feature a flash but the said feature is available on the 5 MP camera of Lumia 535. The camera of Moto E can shoot HD videos at 30 fps, but the camera on Lumia 535 is capable of shooting 480 pixels videos at 30 fps. The Motorola handset comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop. On the other side, the Lumia 535 is shipped with Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

Connectivity, Battery And Pricing

The Snapdragon 400 SoC edition Moto E (2015) offers LTE connectivity but the Lumia 535 does not support it. The Snapdragon 200 edition of Moto E and Lumia 535 supports 3G connectivity. The Moto E (2015) is not available in a dual-SIM edition, but both single and dual-SIM editions of Lumia 535.

The Moto E (2015) is packed with a huge battery of 2,390 mAh. The Microsoft Lumia 535 features a smaller battery of 1,905 mAh. The unlocked Moto E (2015) is priced at $149 whereas the unlocked Lumia 535 is available for $123.
