Britney Spears had to start "work" a little early than expected. Thanks to the man or woman who leaked a low quality version of her single "Work Bitch."

"Work Bitch" leaked online a full day before its official launch by Spears and her team. The expected premiere was scheduled on Monday night. The Grammy winner had teased fans for weeks about the release of "Work Bitch" quite innovatively. Spears used a digital countdown clock on her website, which showed the release date of the song as Sept. 16. But things got all messed up on Sunday, when someone leaked the song online.

"Woke up today and saw that a low quality version of Work Bitch had leaked :(," Spears tweeted.

It was "disheartening that one bad apple had to spoil our release for the entire fan community," Adam Leber, Spears' manager remarked on the leak, according to Billboard.

Spears decided to early the launch of "Work Bitch" on radio and iTunes and the official cut came out at 3 p.m. ET.

"You want a hot body? You want a Bugatti? You want a Maserati? You better work bitch!" Spears nails the opening lines of "Work Bitch" like she is made to do this. The song, written by Will.i.am and Sebastian Ingorsso protégé DJ Otto Jettman, and others, is a club smasher in every aspect. Spears revealed via an Instagram post that Swedish House Mafia producer Ingorsso is also a part of the production team. But, the DJ denied her claims to Billboard that he has nothing to with the song in terms of writing it.

"So...how'd we do?," Spears tweeted after 3 p.m. ET.

"Hope you all love it as much as I do?! #WORKBxxTCHPremiere."

Spears also announced that the song will be available for purchase on iTunes at 12:01 a.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 16, according to E! Online.
