"Britain's Got Talent" duo Bars and Melody had a near-death experience when the plane they were riding on made a crash landing in Los Angeles.

Bars and Melody (B.A.M) were flown over to Hollywood last month to appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and sing their anti-bullying song. Mirror UK reported that upon take off from LA to return to UK, their plane suffered technical failure and crash-landed back to the ground. Charlie Lenehan,15, and Leondre Devries, 13, best buds and rap duo, shared the experience to The Daily Star Sunday.

B.A.M recalls how they "thought it was all over" for them when their plane started to "shake and make really weird noises." Charlie Lenehan thought they were going to die.

"All the lights started flashing. We started to go up and then all of a sudden we just dived back to the ground and made a crash landing," Charlie recalled.

"When we got off we were told there had been technical failure on the plane and the power had shut down," he added.

B.A.M admitted they were lucky to have survived the plane crash. They said "if we had been a minute longer in take-off it would have been a giant metal coffin. But Bars and Melody still lives on."

B.A.M member Leondre Devries, who hadn't flown before said, "I was so, so, scared. I've never flown before so didn't know what was happening." The duo is happy to be alive otherwise it would have been over before they even got to the finals of "Britain's Got Talent."

The duo survived the plane crash and also their way into the finals of "Britain's Got Talent," reported Daily Star.

Now nicknamed B.A.M, the duo was entered into the semi-finals by judge Simon Cowell when they wowed the audience with their anti-bullying song during audition. B.A.M is now among the ten hopefuls in the show who compete to win the crown in "Britain's Got Talent 2014."
