Bridgeton Cops File More Charges Against New Jersey Man Who Hid .25-Calibre Gun Inside Anus

A 21-year-old New Jersey man with extensive criminal record was willing to risk his rectum hit by a bullet by hiding a .25-calibre fully loaded gun inside his anus. When Cumberland County Jail guards found about the hidden weapon, the Bridgeton Police filed additional charges against Darquan Lee.

Cops initially arrested Lee on Friday afternoon on a contempt of court warrant. The officers suspected he was hiding something when he sought their permission to use the toilet at the station but changed his mind when he was told they would search the bathroom and him before and after, reports the New York Daily News.

The officers, who thought Lee was hiding drugs, shared the tip with prison guards, which led to a strip search. The guards ordered the naked Lee to squat, reports Philly.com.

They jail guards discovered the automatic handgun shoved between his buttocks and up Lee’s anus. The weapon was reported stolen in Alabama.

“We’ve had handguns hidden before but never anything quite like this … It’s a good lesson for our younger guys. You can miss something even with a pat-down,” Daily News quotes Bridgeton Police Lt Thomas Speranza.

With the discovery, the police added unlawful possession of weapon and receiving stolen property charges. Lee was convicted of aggravated assault with firearm in April 2011 and spent 18 months prison term but was released early. He was accused of armed robbery in 2013 and is held without bail.

Orifices in the groin area are popular hiding places for drugs and other illegal things by criminals. In 2013, Oklahoma police found a loaded handgun inside the vagina of Christie Dawn Harris and drugs between her buttocks, reports Huffington Post.
