The Victoria’s Secret Angel Gisele Bundchen who launched her career at the age of 14 years, announced her retirement from the ramp on April 15. She also walked the catwalk for the one last time at the Sao Polo Fashion Week the same day for Colcci. And to watch her in the final emotional strut was her husband NFL star Tom Brady who was seated in the front row along with her parents and sister, according to E Online.

The 34-year-old Brazilian beauty had chosen the Colcci runway as she has been associated with the brand for years. Besides, Brazil being her home country Sao Polo was the best place to do her farewell show. The brunette beauty took to the ramp showcasing the brand’s Spring Summer 2016 collection. She donned an intricately detailed white trapeze halter dress over a black bra, lace up knee high gladiator sandals, showing off her famous legs. The mum-of-two’s hair was styled into beachy waves flowing over her shoulders, while her make-up was kept natural with nude lips.

The world’s highest-paid supermodel for the last ten years, worth a whopping $386 million, made an appearance again, this time in another ensemble. This time she wore an orange and white striped silk dress which she paired with the same gladiator sandals but in nude. At the end of the show, she was joined by the entire team of models, all of whom were dressed in white T-shirts with Gisele’s face on it. She wore a sleeveless white cropped T-shirt with blue ripped jeans for the final bow.

She had posted a picture of herself on Instagram getting her hair styled for ramp. In the picture she is seen wearing a white robe and holding a huge green coconut with a straw which she captioned “Almost ready”. Earlier in the day, Bundchen also posted a shot of herself as a 14-year-old. “I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey.” she wrote alongside the nostalgic picture. Gisele told that her decision was due to her body clock which told her to stop and she respected it. Though now the supermodel will not be seen on the catwalk, she will be busy with other projects behind the scene. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots quarterback posted a heartfelt tribute to his model wife on Facebook on April 15 and said that Gisele never fails to amaze him.

Retiring at the peak of her career, she is the highest paid model and earned $61 million last year. She made her debut at the New York Fashion Week in 1996. The face that has launched brands like Chanel, Valentino, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga and Carolina Herrera was spotted by an Elite model agent at a shopping mall in Brazil. She was just 13 at that time and from then on there was no looking back for her.
